SRG Housing Finance Limited denied news reports alleging fictitious loan accounts were flagged by the National Housing Bank (NHB), stating it has not received any communication from NHB Re Finance Department regarding the matter and that the articles present a distorted and misleading account of the facts. The company added that it has not created or maintained fictitious accounts, nor diverted any funds, and that an ongoing inspection by NHB is a routine regulatory exercise.
