SRG Housing Finance Limited rejected allegations circulating in news reports regarding fictitious loan accounts flagged by the National Housing Bank (NHB), stating it has not received any communication from NHB’s Refinance Department and that the articles present a distorted and misleading account of the facts. The company confirmed that NHB is currently conducting a routine inspection, which is a standard regulatory exercise for housing finance companies, and that no fictitious accounts were created or maintained, nor has any amount been diverted.
