Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited announced that its board approved the execution of a shareholders’ agreement with Arka Fincap Limited, a step-down subsidiary of KOEL, Arka Financial Holdings Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of KOEL, and TPG SG Arca Pte. Ltd. for a proposed investment in Arka Fincap. The investment from TPG’s The Rise Funds will comprise an initial investment of INR 525 crore, with the potential for an additional INR 275 crore, subject to certain milestones. Arka Fincap currently has assets under management of approximately INR 8,000 crore and a secured retail portfolio exceeding INR 1,000 crore.
