Kesar Enterprises Limited announced that its board of directors approved the sale of its Sugar, Distillery and Cogen Divisions located in Baheri, District – Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, to Avadh Foods and Multi Warehouse Private Limited on a slump sale basis for Rs 431 crores, subject to shareholder approval and other conditions. The transaction, which does not involve any related parties, is expected to be completed on or before June 15, 2027, and requires a special resolution from shareholders. Avadh Foods and Multi Warehouse Private Limited, incorporated on March 6, 2026, is described as an unrelated third party involved in non-specialized retail trade and warehousing activities.
